Judy Nerat serves as the State Representative for the 108th House District, which includes Delta, Dickinson and Menominee counties. She is dedicated to fighting outsourcing and creating more good-paying jobs for Upper Peninsula residents, strengthening education and protecting our majestic natural resources.
Judy has served two terms on the Menominee County Road Commission. During her time on the commission, she was appointed to the Commissioners’ Committee for the County Road Association of Michigan, and was also appointed chair of the Commissioners’ Committee. In 2004, the County Road Association of Michigan recognized Judy for her outstanding service as a commissioner.
Judy is a small business owner and entrepreneur, and is a certified nursing assistant who has cared for seniors at an assisted living home.
A mother of two and grandmother of four, Judy has lived in the Village of Wallace for 36 years. She is a hunter and an avid outdoorswoman, and is a member of Holy Redeemer Church in Birch Creek.
